• Enrique Loewe Knappe Dione is an exceptionally rare vintage frame from the 1990s, combining a softly rounded silhouette with an elegant gold and platinum plated finish. Made in Italy, the fine metal rims are complemented by contrasting platinum detailing across the bridge and temples, while mottled brown acetate temple tips add warmth to the design. Subtle Enrique Loewe Knappe branding appears at the sides. The delicate proportions give Dione a refined, understated appearance rather than the heavier look of many vintage gold frames.

  Dione comes from the extraordinary limited edition Enrique Loewe Knappe eyewear collection. Produced in small quantities, the frames were individually numbered and conceived as objects d'art, combining traditional craftsmanship with precious metal-plating. Founded in Madrid in 1846, Loewe grew from a cooperative of leather artisans into one of Spain's most prestigious luxury fashion houses, with Enrique Loewe Knappe taking control of the company in 1943.
