So yesterday we attended St Gemma's Vintage Fair in leeds.
St Gemma's Hospice is the largest hospice in Yorkshire. It provide's care for local people with cancer and other life threatening illnesses. St Gemma's is a local charity and the services they provide are free of charge. They rely heavily on fundraising and charitable donations, so the vintage fair was a great way for us to not only display our products and build customer awareness, but also to help raise a little money for an outstanding cause. There was a wide array of stalls selling all things vintage, but we were the only stall specialising in vintage spectacles.
The day was a great success, with people trying on frames and really embracing the heritage and quality of each frame. People were surprised at the amount of options that are available with lens tints and we had demo lenses to demonstrate the options. We will certainly be returning to St Gemma's in the future!!
Next Sunday we are at Fox & Moon Vintage Antique Fair at the National Coal Mining Museum in Wakefield. For more information on all our upcoming events click here.
